I don't expect every customer service interaction to go my way, or to get an immediate answer or resolution. And I admit, the problem I was trying to solve here is a bit on the arcane side. But I still think this demonstrates pretty well how crappy the online customer service forum is. (I obfuscated the rep's name and some of my personal info)

When someone tries to send *me* an MMS message, I do not receive any indication on my phone that such a message has been sent to me. This message goes against my text message quota.

Ok that is why it comes in as a SMS because your not able to use mms on your iPhone.

The recipient will receive a text message notification inviting them to visit AT&T Wireless (http://www.viewmymessage.com) to see/hear their MMS message.
Recipients have 7 days from the time they receive the SMS message to view their MMS message online before it is automatically expired.
Each message contains a unique username and password.

i have seen with my own eyes, some send an MMS FROM A PHONE to an iPhone and the iPhone gets a TEXT MESSAGE

I don't like the automated female voice on the N, L, or M trains. I like the one's on the 4, and 5 trains. "This is a Brooklyn-bound 4 Express Train. The Nexxxt stop is Bowling Green." LOL.
