Nokia 6263 Modem Question

NOKIA 6263 as modem I keep getting an error #678 codes when trying to use my cellphone via USB as a modem.

I have set the connectivity to USB data cable; then Nokia Mode. I am using Windows connection. I keep getting error 678, the remote computer did not respond. Either that or error 775, that the call was blocked by the remote computer.

There is a somewhat similar post, which I read eagerly, but it did not answer the question except to recommend bluetooth. I wish to stay with USB.

Your computer should be using your phone as a modem, and should be dialing a number that is along the lines of #999. The password should be left blank. There is also code you need to input as advanced commands in order to connect your phone to computer and use it as a modem. This is all very easy and I will show you how to do it, just let me know what you have done so far.
