Free Face Recognition Software

I found this cool freeware application called BananaScreen (http://www.bananasecurity.com/) that adds face recognition login to your webcam-enabled Windows computer.

that looks pretty sweet. i might find a way to incorporate this into our work PCs. the fingerprint scanners screw up all the time.

it says "Mac OSX version available soon" on the site. their FAQ also reads "We are currently working on a MacOSX version which we hope to deliver soon!"


i think this is a pretty cool concept... though i dunno if i'd want to be locked out of my computer if i'm having a bad day.. i mean, you have to smile for it to work, right?
