View Full Version : Problems after upgrading online...

i recently upgraded my other line for my girl online and ordered the Dash this past sunday. i paid for express shipping and it's going on thursday. when i upgraded online it said to go to ups.com and use the phone number for the reference number and that's how i'll be able to track it. to this day it still says "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Verify your information and try again" on the ups website.

when i called T-Mobile about it they said that the phone should've been shipped out on monday and i should receive it on wednesday. so when i returned home from last night i was a little peeved to see that i still haven't gotten it.

so i called T-Mobile back and they said the tracking isn't showing up in the ups system and that it still says "pending". now does pending mean that the damn phone hasn't even been shipped out yet??? they credited the $15 i paid for express back to my account but i'm still a little upset that i haven't gotten the phone. is there a way i that CS can just let me go to a T-Mobile Corp store and pick on up or something? because i have a feeling that i'm going to be waiting a long time.

they telling me that it's still showing up as pending. they said sometimes the system doesn't upgrade itself and that even though it's showing up as pending, that the phone would still have been shipped out. which of course is complete BS!

it's obvious by now that the phone hasn't been shipped out yet. i paid for express shipping on Sunday and still haven't gotten it and it's now Thursday.

so now they're saying that in 72 HOURS i'll get a text message on the status of the phone. that's THREE MORE DAYS FROM NOW and it's already been 4 freaking days. i'm so damn irritated. any help from any more T-Mo employees or customers who have gone through this would be greatly appreciated.

your probably just gonna have to wait. unless you call CS and cancel the order and the upgrade and go to a store and do it there.

sigh. then it looks like i'm going to have to wait. becasue the reason why i did it online is so they can bill the account because i don't have the funds available right now otherwise i would've much rather have done it at the store.

People have reported that even though T-Mobile's system shows that, the phone could still be in transit, since sometimes T-Mobile's system doesn't update in real time. That means it takes time for their system to update instead of instantaneous.

thanks for that info, i guess i'll take your word for it. if it doesn't show up today then the phone has obviously been delayed because express shipping should be here by now. i've upgraded online before a received the phone in 3 days.

You could keep calling T-Mobile, and also call the carrier that they shipped it by. I think they use your phone number for the reference number when u call UPS. I don't know which company T-Mobile uses now, since there have been issues with the drivers stealing phones. But keep on T-Mobile.

T-Mobile uses UPS (God i HATE ups). i tried calling UPS but they said i needed a tracking number otherwise they really can't tell if it's been shipped or not. i swear, i feel like T-Mobile and UPS is giving me the run around. you're right they do use my phone number for the reference number, but T-Mobile is saying that it's still showing up as pending but it should still have been shipped out.

sigh it's so frustrating.

Go to UPS's website. I thought T-Mobile dropped UPS cause of their recent thefts from the drivers.

nope. they still use UPS. when i put in the phone number for the reference number i just get this message: "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Verify your information and try again."

hmmm. i was never told that the Dash was on back order. CS never mentioned it. they just keeps telling me that it should've been shipped and that i should've gotten it by now.

i checked the tracking number this morning and they JUST NOW shipping it out after they repeatedly told me that it has been shipped out on monday and i should've received it. now i'm really upset. something told me it hasn't shipped out when they said it was pending but they just kept telling me that even though it shows up as "pending" that the phone has been shipped it.

that sucks but at least you got refunded the shipping charges. Did they at least ship it express?? I have always had such a good experience with TMo shipping, most phones were received within a day or two, sorry you had such problems, but it's nothing to be too upset about, it'll get there.

Wow. Ask them if they can give u a shipping refund if they even charged u shipping.

they already credited back the shipping charges so i'm basically getting it shipped express for free. thanks guys.
