I don't know anything about it. If they will have new plans, I hope one of them are for prepaid, so we can have data or something.

If I heard right they're going to do something to Prepaid plans so that people don't have to put a deposit - like a hybrid prepaid/postpaid plan. Mind you I overheard this while waiting for a rep at the local T-Mobile store to do my credit check.

T-Mobile should bring $19.99 GPRS/EDGE/UMTS back
not everybody needs Starbucks Hotspot
but I also suggest daily internet access for $1.99/day unlimited for 24 hours

I think the daily internet access is a good idea. Are you talking about unlimited internet over the cell towers or hotspot for 24hrs?

you may notice I stated GPRS/EDGE/UMTS only
but I think UMTS may not be available for PAYG users (sign it if you like it)

FLEX-PAY is the new service you are talking about. it basically does away with deposits except one for $125. and you pay your bill before the month of service instead of after. so if you dont pay for the month you dont get your minutes. more indepth details to come.

This service launches in July, as red said details are still filtering down to management and the reps so stay tuned for more detail.

Flexpay launches July 18. Our trainer was given 2 weeks to get everyone trained on it, so there's no way it'll be January.

I'm sorry I don't know why I typed January, I must be drunk. I changed my post to reflect July. We got a manual on it but I haven't really bothered to read it and we are having a meeting next week and I'm under the impression this will be a topic of discussion.

I believe smart choice can switch to flex pay, there was talk of it.

Flex pay annually has discounted handsets with rebates, same no activation fee or deposits, credit check, and some other things I believe. You can get extra anytime minutes by putting funds into your flexaccount via calling CS, going to a corp store, or buying flexaccount cards.

Really, its not such a big thing because it will just put potential charge back customers with discounted phones which the stores will take a hit on. Tmobile wins and stores/employees lose.

Just found out what it will be. There is a new plan that will be unlimited, just like metro pcs and sprint. That is a big deal. I also heard that att will be doing the same thing to in the very soon future.

nahh no unlimited plan terry.
a little more info:
its basically like prepaid jsut set up like the postpaid plans.. you pay for the month ahead of time and get your minutes. if you dont pay by the 27 of each month you dont get your minutes. it takes 3 days for the payment to hit account. you pay full retail price for the phones. you pay for the first months bill at time of activation. you must pay for addons bofore the month. no contract. no deposit.

i just wish tmobile would give us prepay users something. id gladly pay up to a buck/day for full wap/net. or unlimited in calling atleast... on my cingy prepay i get free m2m, but the net is outrageous, .2c/kb.... 1 mb is like 10 bucks, thats why i dont use that. It seems that were kinda going through a fone wars, kinda like the browser wars, and the video game crash of the 80`s, but its all the diff carriers trying to out do the other. soon after tmob introduced the my favs, alltel did the same thing but made it 10 ppl instead of 5, that u can call for free... hell id like to have my favs on tmo2go that would be great...but it just seems that all tmo2go can have is gold rewards, which isnt bad but, cingy prepay is already .10c/min with free m2m, and if u buy a 25 buck card u get 5 bucks free, so thats 300 mins for the price of 250. if it wasnt for tmos great cs, and their coverage id prolly be dealing with cingys bad cs thats only open mon-fri til 9pm.

Yawn. So little or nothing in the way of bones for us low-life smelly fat prepaid users huh?

Minutes don't interest me. If TM2go price seems to steep I can just use some Page Plus. Unlimited is hype I cannot use. Paying any cell phone bill by the month is just not something that I see benefit to.

A reasonable price for data and SMS/MMS though that would be nice. I guess we will wait and see if they do anything about that. Text messaging is long overdue for some adjustment and we have been clamoring for data service for years. When they came in with the evil charge for receiving text I just quit using it. Price it right and we will use plenty of it. By "right" price my suggestion would be a penny to send and free to receive. That would be revolutionary.

I totally agree with you ~Evil~{~Steg~. I wish they had plans for $1.00 per day like you said, but only on the days you use your phone. Just like AT&T. I would want it to be an option, so we can stay where we are, if we wanted to.

my friend on virgin mobile has penny a txt msg after 7pm, thats a kool thing, but for talk its like 25c for first min then 10c a min after that per call. where on 2go if u go under 600 mins cs told me u loose ur 10c min rate, i try to keep my fone up there in mins. though cs has hooked me up on free mins before, they got me to gold rewards/ 10c rate by letting me spread out my fone cards over a weeks time, 10 bucks here, 50 there, etc... and when they called me a few times it used mins and they reimbersed me. i really like their cs, over any other carrier. everytime i call in they see how long i been with them and how much i use my fone and they always thank me for sticking with them. if they have to write up a ticket for any problems u have with their service, they will call you back and get it resolved. lol it fooled me a few times because when they call u it doesnt show up any number it just rings... for all the tmobile cs that are here on the forum, i just wanna thank you all for providing such a great talk network, keep up the great job!!!!!!!!!
