I'm personally a Firefox fan. Internet Explorer 7 gives me problems all the time and crashes.

Is it faster than IE7, or is it really exactly the same?

I just stick with old faithful (for me at least) IE6

I'm also using FF. I used to use IE6, but upgraded to IE7, which kept crashing. When I uninstalled IE7 to go back to IE6, I still had nothing but problems, so I tried FF. Now it's all I use on both XP and Vista. It works better than IE and the fact that you can customize it with different add-ons make it a better browser for me. I get my local weather at all times and instant notification of severe weather alerts with one add-on, and Adblock Plus is great, too!

Do you think it is faster than IE7?

Yes. I had tested loading times before between the two and FF was faster...about twice as fast.

That I couldn't tell you, since I only use FF now. The last time I used IE was about 8 months ago.

I use Mozilla, basically it's FireFox' mother
but I'd separate it from FF
IE has "core dump" problem sometimes

I'm a firefox whore but lately I've been giving safari beta a good try, I really like some of the features and should it ever adapt the expansion capability of firefox it will really be a thread on the windows side. The colors are second to none and the web speed is noticeably faster on pages I regularly view but still...I have so many firefox expansions that its hard to leave firefox totally behind.

Personally, I get annoyed at all the security features that I have to modify on IE7. Plus, the tabs shift up and down every time I add a new tab. Finally, IE7 just doesn't have the add-ons and extensions that Firefox does. That's why I prefer Firefox.

On a side note, T-MobileSignal should work on every browser. We've tested it extensively.

You're a mac user, are you a fan of safari?

I prefer FF since its safer than IE, which is tied to the OS. Alot of people target IE since its tied to Windows, and alot of things can harm your PC just by the open door of IE.

I don't use Safari much at all. To me, Firefox is way better.

but there's ONE exception
IE has site blocking function (resticted sites), that is able to block unblockable popups, or "talking" banner ads (you know that disaster on other forum, right?)
it don't happen on me because I blocked the sites by using firewall
adblock also works with Mozilla and Netscpae 7

opera comes with that built-in... you can block by path as well.
