There has been a lot of talk on the internet about the differences between these three phones. So here it goes:

The talk time on the Sidekick iD is over an hour better then that of the Sidekick II/III. That is, the SK II/III both get 4.5 hours of talk time, while the iD gets over 5.6 hours of talk time.

The Sidekick III and Sidekick iD are tied with internal memory while the Sidekick II comes in last with only 16 mb, while the other two both have 64 mb

When it comes to the camera department, the Sidekick III wins with 1.3 Megapixles. The Sidekick II comes in second with VGA (640x480) and the Sidekick iD sporting no camera at all. Although the Sidekick III has the best camera, compared to many other phones today with 2 Mexapixles and higher, it is not all that impressive. Feedback has shown the cameras have not been great on the Sidekicks, but not terrible either.

Here are some criteria:

The Sidekick iD is cheap. If you are getting this phone because it looks cool, and you want to text a lot, then go with the iD.

If you want a higher end phone with a camera, but you don't need it that nice and you don't want to spend too much, go with the Sidekick II

If your willing to shell out the money, and want a camera that you can take good pictures with, then try the Sidekick III.

In the end, all of these phones are great for texting, and have show everyone how cool you are. Enjor :)

good comparison, however after having a sidekick 3 for a few months i just got tired of it, the only thing i liked was the instant messaging client but that wasn't enough to keep me. I couldn't stand the camera lol

But your comparisons are good ones and true.

If you want to write up a longer comparison, I would add it to the original post, or at least add a link so people can see both of ours. The more comparisons that people read, the more accurate they will be.
I'll add a note about the camera
