iPhone disaster on at&t

this is a joke or something
but when I use at&t prepaid today, none of call worked (couldn't go through or dropped)
and I found their 2G service goes out of control after iPhone launch (you can check at&t forum there)
probably at&t expose their 2G capacity problem now
I just don't understand, at&t has vast amount of bandwidth, and utilizes AMR-HR to save bandwidth, still unable to handle 700k customers increase
why?

Ha! Most of the people I know that complain about their cell calls dropping have AT&T! I think I'll keep away from AT&T and stick with my T-Mo service. Are you still without T-Mo service where you are staying?

no service in the entire area, this sucks
and I explained to T-Mobile support, and they should send some technicians there
I spent a weekend over there, and end up unable to use phone (the worse part is internet), and I had to use at&t prepaid for relief

I hope you don't have to stay there long. I get rather fidgety when I can't go online for a few hours.

I discovered I was addicted when I started looking for extra work, just so I could buy that next quad band fix. Lately, though, each fix seems to work for increasingly shorter amounts of time. I just got a new phone last week, and I'm already scheming up a way to get another phone. :cool:

It's pretty sad. I was up all night last night (vacuuming up flood waters in the inlaws' basement). I had to work the vacuum once an hour. As soon as I finished, I went online looking at phone sites. Who needs naps?

It could be worse... I could have a speedboat addiction! (There are two lakes within 5 miles of my house.):D

i've got an automobile addiction... but lack the capital for it. it's around $30k for a restored 58 packard in mint condition.
