This is the new user titles a fellow member and I have come up with! It's supposed to represent positions at T-Mobile, specifically their retail sales side. Please tell us what you think!

Job Applicant 0 posts
Retail Sales Rep Trainee 100 posts
Retail Sales Rep 200 posts
Assistant Retail Sales Manager 1000 posts
Retail Sales Manager 5000 posts
Retail Market Manager 8500 posts
Divisional Director 10000 posts
Vice President of Retails Sales 15000 posts

Clever titles... I'm a trainee! Does that mean I can get one of those cheap employee plans?

still a long way to go to 1k
strangely, there's not much talk over Hotspot @Home (or I call it VoIP)
there'll be a long silent period till AWS 3G phones announcement and release of bb 8320

i EXTREMELY dislike this. i am NOT a retail sales rep, nor do i want to be one. these user titles are ridiculous, imho. why don't you just let us have our own custom usertitles?

yeah im not too sure this is the best idea either. i think some people wont like this too much.

If you dislike these titles, please provide some suggestions. I thought they were pretty clever... :(

Oh it works fine. They are not all that important. Better than "Newbie" and "Member"

oh they're clever... i just don't think we are being authentic with these titles... it seems we are trying to pose as somethign we're not. we are users helping out other users... with the occasional employee

Good idea but I'm looking for something a little more universal. Something that relates more to cell phones. What about something dealing with talk time....or minutes?

Over what period of time? OMG! Sounds like she should've been a charter customer of Ho-Jack, Inc.

over three months, all while she kept angrily telling me to "trust her" when i'd bring it up... she even had the nerve to say she was giving me "tough love." ... what a bitch! that was about half a decade ago. it's in the past.

right now i'm with the most amazing dame, so it's all good...

it would be kool if you had the choice to use whatever the defaults are and also to be able to make a customer one...would this even be possible with this software ur using? I know that also society kinda but not 100% bases flip fones off of star trek because of the communicator, and also off of the first cell fone that was like carrying a big brick around. being that this is a tmobile based forums, you should keep defaults to tmobile if everyone agrees, i like some of the ones csi_nut suggested. what if after a certain amount of posts the user could use a customer one? like 1000 posts or something, that way everyone would be happy. lol 5k posts u could say u been ho-jacked lol i got a kick outta that one.

It's official I am a Retail Sales Rep

SJSMR2

I think there should be a title for 50 posts also.... like "In Traning" or something. :D

Haha, we still love ya SJSMR2! One thing though, maybe something in between 200 and 1000 posts, maybe 500 as a "Lead Retail Sales Rep" or something like that, seems like forever before you get promoted again. What do you guys think?

Alex
08-28-2007, 01:42 PM
Good point Kin. I'm still not content with the user titles though. Earlier in this thread, many users expressed great dissatisfaction with the new title system. I'd like to find something unique but still related to cell phones...hmmm this is tough!!!

AndrewD

Just saying I have the experience that's all

Of topic for a sec i found some awesome usb dongles from cace technologies they go for $300-500 they receive an inject traffic the 300 dose 802.11bg the $500 on dos 802.111 a b g. These are great if you wardrive/chalk to the max and are gret for cracking wep and WPA encryptions taylor mad for use with programs like wireshark kismet aircrack ng winpcap. It's mainly meant of analyzing wifi based nets but you could probably detect the newer @home phones and routers with them.

That's my $2
