I had to get a replacement RIZR but the replacement is fine with one problem: the slide is very loose.

I was wondering if I could get replacement for this problem if I go to a Tmobile store? The phone was sent in the mail and now it's loose, so I would prefer to get a replacement at the T Mobile store.

The slide is very loose when its closed and it's starting to get loose when it's open too. Really irritating

I tried the RIZR for a few days and and it also had a loose slide. It always felt as though it would come apart in my hand. That, as well as the music player, are why I sent it back. Mine was shipped to me via UPS. The box was undamaged, so I don't think it was damaged in shipping. I hope it isn't one of those quality control issues that you sometimes hear about with Motorola phones.

I called customer care and they said that i can't get a replacement with them since i waited more than a week (the slide was not this loose when i first got it). So they told me i have to go through Motorola or Asurion, saying going through motorola would be better since I would not have to pay deductibles for it. So I'm going to give them a call when I have some time I guess, to see if I can get another replacement.

But I have ordered a Sony Ericsson k790a so I'm going to be pretty happy on Friday :)

Congrats on the SE! I wish T-Mobile would've stood behind their RIZR. They could at least give 14 days.

Yeah, I know >.>

It really doesn't matter for me at this point for the RIZR, it's just a bit loose but it still works fine. My main phone is gonna be my SE when I get it :)

Thought the SE did burn a little hole in my pocket now :( But well worth it I think lol
