View Full Version : Customer Care or someone at T-Mobile messing with Phone

I called 611 about the signal where I have a house in Philadelphia, MS.
I have a Motorola W490 phone and it will be getting a full scale signal but
when i move it even 2 inches it will lose all signal. I checked the coverage
map for where the house is and it shows the dark green, which is supposed
to be the BEST they have. Was told that they would have someone look into the problem within 72 hours(being Memorial Day weekend i expect it to take longer which is no problem). What i am writing this about is ever since I made that call, my phone has been resetting the memory card(removing it) I would turn it off and remove battery and reseat the memory card then put battery back in and turn back on. It would come up and recognize the memory card again. I started trying just turning off and removing the battery...this worked, when turned back on it would also recognize the memory card again. I even tried another memory card I had first one 2GB (Sandisk brand like motorola says is only brand guaranteed to work) other one 256KB. Both would do same thing. Then one time I didn't turn off and remove battery right away and in a few minutes it would do same thing and say "reinserting memory card". My Question is...can T-Mobile do this to a phone? Thanks for any answers. I am going to go tuesday or wednesday and look at some amplifiers. Gary
