Thanks

I'm not sure about the Tmo hotspot but you can use JoikuSpot to turn your Nokia 5800 into a 3G Wi-Fi HotSpot. The software is free and you can just google it to find it. There is also a Premium Version available for like $15 dollars.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Guaner - I saw that and had loaded it into my phone however I do not have a data plan - they took it away when I added HotSpot along with Text Messaging - that works the wrong way, that connects other things to the phone to get out to the internet.

Ah, I see - bummer that you lost your data plan.

Yeah the intro plan was 300minutes free weekends 300 text messages and 30 photos with unlimited slow internet for $29 a month then to get the HotSpot calling it was another 9.99 a month but you had to have a base plan of $39 a month to get it so that added $20 a month and they took away the data and the text and added 600 minutes with nights after 9pm and weekends free. - The 6086 has great email and IM abilities and they took away the service when I upgraded. Sort of went backwards in the tech there.

I think I picked the 5800 because it was listed as a wifi hotspot phone but I can't seem to find that stated anywhere - so I may have screwed myself out of the hot spot which is killing me because my office where I am 20 hours a day has poor reception and the hot spot really fills in the signal problem.

They are being sold in the UK by T-Mobile but the USA has not started selling them yet and doesn't even have any support information on them. Bleeding edge of the technology curve . . . may have to just switch to the $49 a month unlimited plan and give up the HotSpot...

I do not prefer to use any kind of outside things on my phone. Instead of that I would love to buy integrated one as that one will be safe and I think will deliver more quality work as well.

I ended up changing plans for 1 cent more a month to unlimited calling and gave up on the hotspot service plan. I had to get a cell phone signal booster for it to work in my office. Other than that the phone has been great and I really like it. It plays the ZUNE Podcasts better that the ZUNE (bigger screen and Speakers!) using the same files.

My mum own this Nokia 5800 xpressmusic on accessorygeeks.com. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic offers a sharp touch screen and compact design, it also features a 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G support. The 5800 seems like a solid mid-level touch phone for music—especially if Comes With Music pans out as a cool service.
