it may be stupid to ask
but I just don't know why T-Mobile is so unwillingly to acquire regional carriers (Dobson, Suncom, Centennial)
or does DT has secret talk with somebody to sell USA business
on the other hand, Google, they're getting more ambious and aggressive recently, and it may be possible Google buys T-Mobile, and rename to G-Mobile
what do you think?

Google seems to be buying up a lot of companies lately. I wouldn't be surprised if Yahoo's stock continues to fall.

i'm not sure if google would jump in the telecom game like that, but they did purchase grandcentral...

i really don't think google has any leverage on DT... but DT may partner with them in their USA operations

It turns out this question was about 18 months ahead of the curve. Elsewhere on the site now is an article that addresses this question of 1- T-Mobile possibly being for sale and 2 - Google being a possible buyer.

Wow, should Google make the purchase then they are definitely setting themselves up as a standalone communications company. A recent article spoke about Google offering a fiber optics cable that would allow you to get up to 1GB/s of internet speeds.

These Google guys are amazing.
