Text messages about voicemail

When i get a voicemail and when i check my voicemail i get a text message, is there a way to stop this. i have a PEBL U6.

I've heard of this problem with the PEBL. Is your PEBL a T-Mobile branded one, or unbranded? I had an unbranded one briefly, but I never had that problem.

If you have an unbranded phone, you may need the T-Mobile settings sent to the phone. I did so as soon as I received the phone.

I think it is unbranded. How do i get the T-Mobile settings sent to my phone?

you need to do a seem edit, overseas VM is different than the US. Seem editing is more intimidating than it actually is, start with some easy to follow guides here (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/) and youll be on your way :)

i did some seem edits, cool stuff but that did not fix the issue. your mp did the trick. thanks a bunch

call CS and tell them to reset your VM. that might help.

Milkbone is right, because its an unbranded phone you will get the text message after every voicemail that has the ^ symbol in it, the only way I've heard to remove it is exactly as milk suggested, either monster pack that sucker or seem edit!

Also, is it possible to get T-Zones on the PEBL w/o getting the wep settings from tmo? i don't want the internet on my phone but it is nice to see how many minutes each phone on my contract is using.

The websessions on my MP are "optimised" lets say, just switch between the http and tzones entries to access different areas of the internet.
In your other thread regarding the outer display, try switching to analog clock, or vice versa.
