Does any now how to create a playlist in the dash for windows media player.

you have to update the library. then all the songs will play in order.

Yes i know that much but when you first open the media player it says library and other things and one of the options is playlist. So i want to know how to tcreate a playlist. Cause when i hit update library and it puts all the music files in the library wheather they are full songs or ringtones and i don't want that just want a customer playlist with only certain songs

you will have to create the playlist on your pc for that. open WMP on pc and create playlist then transfer that over to the phone.

otay. You don't have to sync it, but connect your phone to ActiveSync, open up EXPLORE and go to your storage card folder to copy all your music onto your desktop.
Then:
1. open up WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER (has to be version 10 or 11)
2. right click on LIBRARY, then FILE, then ADD TO LIBRARY, then either ADD FOLDER if you just want the folder you copied from your phone, or BY SEARCHING COMPUTER to make sure you got all your media.
3. after it's all copied into the player under ALL MUSIC hold CTRL and select all the songs you want on that 1 playlist (you can do 'em 1 by 1 but it takes forever)
4. right click after all songs are highlighted, hit ADD TO then ADDITIONAL PLAYLISTS.
5. select NEW and name your new playlist, making sure that your new playlist is still highlighted, select OK to put all your songs in the new playlist.
6. your pretty much done from there. make sure your phone is still CONNECTED to Active Sync
7. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR SYNC FROM MEDIA PLAYER, NOT ACTIVE SYNC. it should work either way, but I have had issues doing this w/ activesync on 2 different Dash's.
