Server went down!

I spoke to my hosting company this morning because my server went down. According to them, it went down because there was an account on my server who was "misbehaving." Therefore, they had to power cycle the modem. Sorry for the inconvenience!

It was down for me too. It worked after about 5 minutes of trying to get in.

What exactly does "misbehaving" mean???

Basically, some other account on the same server had corrupt files on it. This made the server relatively slow so they shut down the server and rebuilt the /home area I believe. I'm looking into getting a dedicated server.

i was afraid you might have gotten a C&D from t-mo. glad to see it is up and running now.

that is what i was afraid of... i'm thinking if the site stays free of any revenue, we should be relatively clear from any C&D

I'm glad it is back up and running. I got a bit nervous this morning when I couldn't access it from either my computer or my phone.

Eventually the site will have text advertisements on it...but no banner ads of course! I'm not worried about any C&D. T-Mobile doesn't have a case according to my lawyer. Plus, they'd piss off a lot of loyal t-mobile fans like yourselfs. :)

I'm glad to see it's back up, too. I thought it was just on my end until I checked from my phone and couldn't get on that way either. My internet service was down earlier from just before I left to go to work until sometime after I was at work. Thankfully, that's back up, too, lol.

And I feel like T-mobileSignal wouldn't be taken down right away if we got a C&D letter...we'd fight tooth and nail to stay around:)
