So, I wanna upgrade online but I am not sure what the mail-in rebate thing is all about.

Do they send it to you right when they send the phone?
Can you trust them?
Does it come in a visa card or check?
If so, is the card limited to where you can use it?
How long after you sent the rebate do you get the money back?

Also...

When I upgrade online... I have a family plan, so... do we all have to can I just upgrade and then the rest of my family upgrades when they want? Thanks.

You send the form in with the IMEI label on the side of the box. The rebate comes in the form of a prepaid Visa debit card that you can use anywhere that accepts Visa cards. Supposedly, the card will arrive in about 8 weeks.

But I mean they do arrive correct? I am just asking because I wanna upgrade but I am not paying for the upgrade, my mom is, and she wants to be sure that the mail in rebate arrives. That's all. Thanks.

As long as you fill the form out correctly and send what they want, supposedly it will. (This is the first time I've sent in for a T-Mobile rebate, so I'll know in about 8 weeks.)

If the online version is too scary to try, go old school and mail the info in!

I would certainly think you could trust them on the rebate.

Yeah that's what I thought. Now I even recall doing the whole rebate thing way back when I first joined T-Mo for some RAZR deal I got.

So the Dash just got here today! Not too bad so far.
