How many bars do you get in your house with your T-Mobile phone(s)?

I get 4/6 bars.

full bars for me. like i posted in the tower search thread i have just below 1000 antennas within 7 miles. i live at the medical center in san antonio. about 20 hospitals in one spot so there is great coverage.

It depends on the phone I am using, but most of them get few bars. My neighborhood association blocks cell towers from being built. According to antennasearch.com, T-Mobile has a future tower coming to the outer edge of my neighborhood, just outside of the neighborhood association's reach. Compass shows my house to have only one bar of service, and yet I never lose my weak signal.

2 - 4, depends on the weather

Usually i'm around 4/5 bars on the Pearl 90% of the time.

Usually 2-5 depending on what area I'm in at home since I live on a pretty high hill with trees and other houses all around. I'm sure weather and other uncertain factors affect it as well. Sometimes it goes to "No Signal", but usually after about 30 seconds it jumps back to 5 bars (not sure why this happens though).

I live in the Metro KCMO area so I get 5 bars anywhere I go....untill I step foot inside my house, then I get 1 little tiny square, can't even call it a bar. lol If I have it up against a window I might get 2 bars unless it's raining then I get nothing. I'm told it's because of the shape of the house. Anyone know why that makes a difference?

FYI - you can call CstSvc. and tell them what kind of signal issues or whatever that you are having. They'll go through some troubleshoting steps with you and then will put in ( or you can ask them to put in) a service request for your area. The more svc.req. they get the better the chances for signal enhancement in that area.

1-4 (out of 4) on my dash. It changes just sitting on the table from full to 1 bar. Doesn't affect calls or data. Not even garbled.

I get different signal in different parts of the house, but it is usually high. Today I got 4/6 in one room.

Well, I live in a dry county, so there aren't any bars in my house.... ;-)

Oh all right... 4 bars Cingular, 1-2 bars T-Mo, 4 bars Centennial, 1-2 bars Verizon

Sure that's not Cingular ROAMING on Centennial in your area, but locking your alpha tag so it says Cingular no matter what? ;):D

No, I'm the queen of multiple phones... The Cingular is a Cingular GoPhone. The Centennial is T-Mobile roaming on Centennial (perma-roaming at home because the TMo signal is unreliable). The Verizon is a Page Plus LG VX4500.

I get full bars since I am in NYC, and I am surrounded by towers. There is one 2 blocks from me. I just wish I could identify which towers are T-Mobile and have 3G.

my signal strength is usually around -92 dBm at my apartment. i dunno how many bars that is because i use dial-style signal and battery meters...

the funny thing is, when i step outside my door, my signal jumps up to a full -74 dBm and maxes out my meter. odd... wtf is in my apartment that's stopping the signal? must be all the steel... this place was built in the 50s

Full signal, the signal here though is provided by AT&T Affiliate, Edge Wireless. Pretty impressive considering the rural, mountainous and heavily forested area I live in ( :) This is one of the most difficult areas in the US to cover.

With the MDA, I got 0-1 bars out of 4. On the Dash I get 1-3. If I step outside it's 4. On the coverage map, my house is like 10 feet out of the good zone...I think there's lead paint here...

I just got my Nokia 6086 today, and now get full coverage. I also get full coverage in my yard, and probably in my neighbor's yard.

The Verizon is a Page Plus LG VX4500.

that's why you're only getting 1-2 bars.. LG phones are garbage for reception, especially in verizon's 850MHz markets.. my LG phones on Verizon drop calls up north like they're nothing, but my Motorola or Samsung phones dont even garble or drop.. amazing how much crap LG produces and Verizon still pushes them.. it will never cease to amaze me.

btw, to actually contribute to this thread:

at home: upstairs is usually 5-6 bars depending on where i am, and the basement is usually 3-4, but sometimes 1 on my t219 and t629. never drop or garble anywhere though.

It is, very beautiful! Also very uncrowded, my county of Mendocino, for example is huge at 3800 square miles, but only 86,000 residents. Come up anytime, we'd love to have ya!

Yet, the T-Mobile coverage map shows I should only have 3 haha :p

depends on what fone im using aswell, if i use my nokia 6030, i get full bars almost constantly, but if i use my razr v3, i get at lowest 2 bars, but on average 3-max. i never get dropped calls or no service. i travel alot, but these bars are all from within a house or building etc... when im out in the woods hunting, i still get great service. ( I hunt to eat, not for trophy) :)

At home in Topeka, 4/4 bars. At my old house in Sacramento, lucky to get 1/4 bars in the front room. One thing I love about Topeka: Practically perfect reception throughout town.. Then again, that's prolly due to none of those pesky things called mountains.. =D
