Has anyone purchased anything from them before? I have been looking at their items for a long time now. Sometimes they have good deals.

Absolutely fine website, have bought from them and ecost.com numerous times. Trustworthy site, returns as with all website related purchases can be a hassle but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again though I find the prices at ecost usually a bit lower.

I use them all the time, but mainly because just about anything online i can just go pickup at their naperville, Illinois store. (like 20 minutes away). If i had to get things shipped, i would use newegg.

whoa tigerdirect has a facility in naperville?? that's really cool... but with gas prices these days, it's cheaper to get it shipped and wait for me.

Most of the older components in my desktop computer(case, power supply, motherboard, wireless card and router combo) I bought in November 2003 fro TigerDirect. Newegg.com seems to be cheaper. I bought my 2GB RAM(1GB x 2, dual channel kit) from Newegg cheaper than it would have cost from TigerDirect.

BEWARE OF TIGER REBATES!!! I've heard plenty of horror stories about them (less so now than 2 years ago). Manufacturer rebates are fine (since Tiger doesn't have anything to do with them directly). But if you're going for a product with a Tiger rebate, just make sure you FOLLOW ALL REBATE INSTRUCTIONS (and when I say "all", I mean ALL), COPY EVERYTHING and keep it in a safe place, and FOLLOW UP on your rebate after the stated lead time has elapsed.

Computer Stores, Discount Computer Stores, Retail Computer Stores. TigerDirect.com (http://www.tigerdirect.com/retailstores/naperville.asp)

If they don't have it in front, you give them the item number and they pull it out of the back/warehouse. I live much closer to microcenter but will go out to tigerdirect when things are cheaper. (and besides, i love the pasta at the portillios down the block!) I even got an unlocked gsm phone there. Saved me money with either shipping it or going upto devon ave.

I have bought from them before, it has been a while though (no complaints). Once I found out that the CompUSA store here would price match them though I started getting everything there.

The word is already out, but FORGET tigerdirect. Newegg is the way to go. Tiger prices are usually always higher than newegg.
