I made my daily check of my available upgrade prices in My T-Mobile, and it shows the Nokia 6086 and Samsung t409 Wifi phones available. The Nokia is $117.77 and the Samsung is $117.99. I guess the nationwide WiFi release is here?
EDIT: After posting this, I saw Admin's post stating that the nationwide Wifi has started. :) The 6086 looks like a pretty good phone. I'll be curious to see how the reviews of the phone come out.

it appears a sweet deal, may get one (an exception, because I can use VoIP feature with home LAN)
update: found it's $169 on my t-mobile
sorry

Which do you think looks better, the Samsung or the Nokia? I'd lean towards the Nokia myself, but I didn't really like the interface of the one Samsung I've owned (t629).

His pricing is correct, but you are seeing the nonqualified discount pricing and he is seeing the qualified discount pricing.

I'm sorry I didn't make it clearer. My prices were with a 2-year extension, and the price is $169 without extension.
A question: Does T-Mo's 6086 have a browser? I don't see any mention of it in the product descriptions on T-Mo's site, though Phonescoop shows it to have one.

I like it has quad-band, and you can use BL-6C with it

I have 3-4 BL-5C batteries here in good condition. I use an old Tracfone to charge up a spare if I am leaving town.
I'm too excited about the release. I hadn't paid much attention to it up to now, but I'm highly tempted to get out my plastic and go to my local store. I'm not usually bad about wanting something when it is first released, but the fact that I can use it without the unlimited @home addon would be nice. I only use a few hundred of my monthly 1500 as it is. The improved reception of using Wifi would be quite nice.
