New T-Mobile Data Prices

T-Mobile will be updating their data prices soon. I think where it says "Phone First" I think that means really phones/dumb phones like the Samsung Holic, and the Samsung Behold, and etc.

Also, I believe the sidekick data change is for an upcoming Sidekick with 3G, not current Sidekicks, don't quote me on that, i'm not sure, like I said "I think", lol

These data service include both unlimited data, and unlimited messaging, or unlimited data, and limited messaging, but not vice verse of course, except for the "Phone First" phone option, and "T-Mobile Shadow" phone options.

probably T-Mobile wants to simplify data prices
now ALL data services will support tethering
however, if you tether with web2go, your price will be maxed out ($25 or $35)
and it'll have 10GB limit
if you're on smartphone/bb/G1/SK, your data service won't "downgrade" to web2go when you use such data with regular phone, the data will change automatically if you "upgrade" from web2go to smartphone services, or change your branded smartphone

The corporate blackberry prices better not change because thats the only plan I can use because apparently T-Mobile 19.99 blackberry plan does not work with VPN so I am already paying 30 a month with no messaging and If that goes up then my bill would be completely rediculous!

The t-mobile g1 data and retail price?lets say if i go to a store or w/e and buy a retail g1 and i dont have the dataplan can i still use the g1??

Yes you can but you won't be using their network as far as Internet and such. You will only be able to go Net via Wi-Fi. So, basically... are the data plans gonna change... or are they gonna increase? There is a difference. :)

i would like to see a 29.99 Unlimited Family Data.... Even a 39.99 price point would be ok....

I'd like to see Total Internet (not plan alone) will be available again, which officially supports tethering
it can be $25 with 400 messages; $35 with unlimited messages, and $10 to have a separate number
