3G mass market launch: October

The rumor I read about this also mentioned the HTC Dream(first Android handset) to be released by the end of October,so I'm kind of doubting it.We can all hope though!

From everything I've read T-Mo is still to be the first with android phone out of the gates,but the more believable rumors say spring 2009.I'm def hoping for earlier,but prolly not until the end of the year.Maybe holiday season 08.

since nokia-qualcomm drama comes to the end, we're more likely too see unlocked 3G phones with AWS in next year

I don't think they'll make it in October(I'm thinking December). There maybe a OS problem (bug) slowing things down.

I'm psyched too. I forgot how much I liked Nokia's until I this week.Do you think it will happen though with T-Mo the only ones using AWS?

Wasn't it already supposed to have been launched this past Spring? Or was it Nov 2007? They've been promising for so long but not delivering that I can't remember now (and wouldn't trust any target date they throw out to us)
