Slingbox issue

Does anyone know how to get Slingbox to work with T-Mobile's data plan?

the very first thing is making it work through internet
1. determine to use IP or domain
if you use cable, you can just use IP; or just signup dynamic DNS service
2. setup port forwarding
if your router supports uPnP, let slingbox takes care for you; if not, do this
setup 2 port forwarding
run network wizard on slingplayer (press Alt+e when slingplayer is active)
Slingbox configuration->Network Settings, run wizard, get slingbox IP
(slingbox IP): port (default is 5001
(slingbox IP): port 80
setting wizard will attempt to setup internet connection
after that, you can use laptop or pda to test
notice: total internet is recommended due to very high volume usage, you may not be able to use other application when slingplayer is active
currently EDGE connection only has up to 240kbps speed, you need at least 450kbps to get decent quality (or 250kbps with pda)
