T-Mobile has been having a No-Contract My Faves Migrations for some time now.
If you have any reservations as to converting your account to my faves, take care of it soon. The NC offer will most likely not be offered next month, with the 1000k NW 39.99 (individual line only) plan being removed soon as well in time for the Hotspots opening June 27th.

Thanks for the heads up.
Is this not contract extensions when you switch over to MyFaves? Or just month-to-month when you sign up?

when you switch from any type of plan over to a Myfaves plan ONLY.
NW plans --> myfave: yes
myfave --> NW plan: no
MAKE sure you ask the rep to give you the NC plan. if you make no mention of it, the rep may give you a normal Myfaves plan which would then extend your contract.
(the difference between the "two my faves plans" are distinguished for the rep's computer by the initials NC.)
example:
NCMYFAV600 is no contract extension
MYFAV600 is contract extension.
