It'll be a toss up between that and the LG Dare, since I'm about to bit the bullet on the Curve now lol.

The Blackberry Thunder (9530) has an advanced virtual keyboard. It features advanced haptics that vibrates the area in whichever key your press. It's screen is also said to be larger and more vibrant than the iPhones. The showdown has begun, lol.

Ah, I am really going to be TEMPTED!

Actually, it's not really a vibrate as are traditional haptics, but it's an actual "click" that you feel on your fingertip. It's also getting a new browser built around the Webkit engine, the same you'd find in Safari on both Mac, PC, and the iPhone/iPod touch PLUS a glass, multi-touch screen to be as close to the iPhone experience. If they can have an option for a vertical-QWERTY feature (if you use it vertically as of now, it's just SureType), you can definitely bet I will be early upgrading in January.

For you to feel a "click" through a glass screen, a motor has to be used to send the vibration through the screen. It's based on simple potential-to-kinetic energy my friend.

Not into physics much, ok? ;)

I just thought that the way you put it it sounded as if it would have the standard vibrate features that's featured on other phones (Voyager, Dare, etc.). My bad.

There are different frequencies used for GSM. Most countries use GSM 900/1800. The US and Canada use 850/1900. A "global" phone on CDMA will typically have 900/1800 to accommodate most countries but not include 850/1900.

The specifications are direct form RIM (the manufacturer of Blackberries), so it's QUAD band GSM my friend. Thanks in advance

At the Midtown location in Columbus, GA there are 3 people (including myself) waiting for the store to open up. They have 11 units in stock, so figure that in with Columbus is a medium sized city.

After a couple of hours with the phone, I can say that it is solidly built. However, an OS update is MUCH needed by RIM to make the operation of the phone alot smoother than what it is now. Nonetheless, still a great phone/good alternative to the iPhone.

Just for phone usage and text messages, yes. Picture messages, video messages, e-mail, and the internet will NOT work due to MetroPCS not having BlackBerry service books.

I forgot to mention, I've unlocked my Storm for use on AT&T. I have all functionality except for 3G (doesn't utilize the 850/1900 UMTS bands for 3G, only 2100).

Yeah, my friend and I love using Blackberry phone, so I search this shop accsgeeks that have many, many kinds of blackberry phone with a best price with a modern features. This is the first BlackBerry touchscreen phone packed with messaging, document editing, and multimedia features; international GSM roaming. This camera is 3.2MP camera with video recording, so easy switching between applications.
