T-mobile's map says that I should have at least OK service at my house, if not better. But for some reason, when any T-mobile customer comes over, they can never get any service either! This is really starting to frustrate me. Is there any way I can get T-mobile to make coverage better in my area?

If it is just a matter of needing a better signal in your house, you could try one of these two things to boost your signal:
Cellphone repeater: http://www.repeaterstore.com/products/repeaterkits/wi-ex/zboost-zp-wireless.html
Wireless extender: http://www.thenerds.net/WIRELESS_EXTENDERS_Cellphone_Dual_Band_Extender.YX 510PCSCEL.html

It might be that you need to switch the network carrier from T-Mobile to a roaming partner.
Menu
>Settings
>>Phone
>>>Operator Selection
>>>>Manual
>>>>>Wait for "searching" to finish and then you'll see a list of available network carriers. Experiment with your options on this list until you find the best signal. If one of the choices is Cingular, don't get your hopes up on that one, it doesn't work everywhere.
If the above doesn't work, your only other option is to MOVE, LOL!
Seriously, hope this helps!

you can submit service request and/or trouble ticket to state coverage issue/request
immediate solution: get either indoor repeater with good outdoor antenna -or- get T-Mobile VoIP phone if you already have broadband/LAN setup
