View Full Version : Got a Curve

I went ahead and had TMo bill me for a Curve so I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket if I don't like it and return it. I saw there will be some HTC's releasing on the 6th so I will go check those out in the store when they get them. Charging the Curve right now, but I noticed how small the keys are for the keyboard so I'm already a little worried. :(

I haven't played with an activated unit, but looking at the demo units at the kiosks the keys actually seemed pretty usable to me - and I've got some big ol' fingers. But then I've also used (and loved) the Treos (600 and 700p) so I'm a little used to those types of keys.
I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. Enjoy the Curve! I would love to have one of those myself. Also looking forward to some of the HTC's! Of course!

Thanks! You're right, I shouldn't worry too much until I am actually using the unit and have a chance to see if there's anything to be worried about. :)

It's already broken, some sort of hardware issue when a WIFI connection is open. It cycles power on then as soon as it boots it powers off, repeat until out of range of a WIFI signal. BLEH! If it happens again with this next one I give up.

If it's a hardware issue can't you exchange it?

Oh for sure, they've got a new one on the way. Since I ordered it through CS I have to get it replaced through CS. I went to the store for an exchange but TMo policies don't allow that.
Broke it already. Shame shame I know your name. :p
