Does anybody have an estimate on when this will be released by T-Mobile USA?

Given those high end specifications, I really wouldn't be surprised to see this only make it to T-Mobile in Europe.

I know, and on PhoneScoop it said that it will release in the US to major carrier partners. Remember Sprint, and T-Mobile we're the 1st partners right out of the gate, and T-Mobile kept saying the device was coming out by the end of the year. I'm telling you all this is it. You can check out phonescoop.com for the info, to bad i'm getting the new Sidekick. But, maybe i'll get some money for my Bday, and I can get it too.

Chinese language tech-rag, Commercial Times, quoted HTC CEO Peter Chou as saying that the company's previous projection of moving 2 million of the newly announced (http://www.intomobile.com/2008/05/06/press-photo-of-new-htc-touch-diamond-shows-off-new-ui.html) HTC Touch Diamond handset has been upgraded to 3 million units.
Chou indicated that it took the Taiwanese company 11 months to reach the 2 million-unit milestone for its first-generation HTC Touch handset, but expects to sell the same number of HTC Touch Diamond handsets in just 7 months

Engadget Mobile was just reporting that HTC was shipping its units out at the time. Hong Kong is getting its units first. European and Asian markets will receive their units in June. This only means that a release date for the United States has yet to be determined. They're going to get units to where they can get better carrier subsidies and better sales first. In the United States, even if T-Mobile USA or AT&T pick it up, how much do you think they would possibly subsidize it?
