Thinking about changing my plan on-line, but don't want to lose my $9.99 Unlimited Msgs for Families. Am I risking losing this by changing my plan, should I do it with CS? I know I have changed plans before w/o losing it, but I believe I did it with CS. I'm just being lazy and don't feel like calling

The $9.99 plan does not exist anymore? Is that why you are worried about losing it?

if you do it in my t-mobile, you'll have opportunity to check your service upon checkout, put in your last 4 if you're happy with your choice

yeah the weather sux. i hate days like this, no customers. and people here start freakin out on the highways when it rains. dont even think about goin anywhere near the speed limit. they say its supposed to blow through soon tho. so you wont have to deal with it too much longer SoMuch2S@y.

i actually like the rain. its cools everything off. and that is nice when you live in a virtual desert like san antonio. but back on topic, have you called in to see what will happen??

yah i actually enjoy the rain as well. nah i haven't called yet, still debating on whether to lower my existing family plan minutes to 700 or for the same price get myfaves w/ 700 also. i changed all the phones on our acct online to myfaves phones but it still doesn't give me the option to change to a myfaves family plan, so i may have to call after all. oh and my internet/cable at home is down (stupid at&t uverse-avoid it at all costs) so i'm stuck surfing on my dash, which isn't bad normally but i want to look more into the plans on tmo.

I think you can change your plan and it wont affect yoru grandfathering messages. have you called t-mobile directly and asked?

I can say it more precisely now (the screen on X51v still has some problem)
try to login my t-mobile, and go to plans and services, that's where you can change your plan
on second part is service option, where you can add or remove optional services, as long as you don't remove, grandfathered service will be intact
then check out
then you see summary of your new plan and optional services, you can confirm whether your grandfather services is there or not
if you're satisfied your selection, you'll go to final page, key in your last 4 of SS, and it's done
I changed my plan on my t-mobile, and my grandfathered service options are not touched at all

People use the word "grandfathther/ed" for a service or plan that was offered at one time, but is no longer offered anymore. My $9.99 unlimited texts for families is now priced at $19.95, so my $9.99 plan is "grandfathered."
