Yes!, I also want the Sony Ericsson W760. I been waiting for Sony Ericsson to come back to T-Mobile for sometime. I hope it comes in blue, if not atleast a black color or somethin.

I don't really want it. I'm sort of over the Nokia 5610, and Motorola ROKR E8. I was just gonna have those 2 cause I was sendin my Zune 2 in for repair, and I would need a little temporary Mp3 Player. Now, I want my 3G, I can't keep on switchin phones. So, I want the Sony Ericsson W760.

I'm not understanding what you're trying to say. What are the smartphones, etc, excluded from?

currently forthcoming smartphone info are too confusing, here is the list
moto Z10
moto Q10(?)
Dash II
Shadow II
SK IV(?)
nokia N78(?)
Android based phone from HTC
everything on smartphone side is so uncertain, that I have to exclude
on SE side, I'd prefer C702 more than W760, because it has better cam, and more solid form (bar vs slider)
but if C702 doesn't have NA1700 3G, this'll be another story

You must not have seen the camera quality on the Sony Ericsson W760i. Here's some sample shots:

The Motorola Q10 would be nice; but, you said your not sure on that one. I would love a Dash II also.

I think the OP meant they were excluded from the poll.

in my opinion i would say the w760i just because SE phones are great music phones, but this phone not only has that it also comes with a good 3mp camara and 3g support :)

Personally, of the phones listed nothing tickles my fancy. I'm more of a PDA style phone user myself, so anything of that ilk is what I would be looking for in the future.
Preferably something that's going to work with the 3G that we all know is upcoming "Real Soon Now"(tm).

I'm the same way. I'm transitioning from liking mid-end phones to high end PDA/Smartphones. But, if I had to pick out of all of those I would pick the Sony Ericsson W760i

Oh I'm with you on the SE selection - if somebody held a gun to my head and said that I had to choose one of those that's the one I'd go for. I do like the Sony Ericsson phones (I had an SE T18d way, way, way back in the day and I think it's still my favorite honest-to-god phone that I've ever had).

I never actually got a chance to use Sony Ericsson phones; but, from what I see they are very nice.

I heard some horror stories about T300 and T610
however, after I got the first SE phone, T637, I am so impressed how does it work
and the second one, Z710i, gave me more confident that SE also makes quality products
and W300, I say this is the best phone of reception so far

You don't have any unlocked phones or you won't use or unlock a phone? Can I ask why you wouldn't unlock a phone?

Never had, or probably never will use a unlocked phone. Why? For one I am 18, and I am unemployed right now, and I live with my grandma, and am at home recovering from a car accident, and just resting up before college. So, my granny supports me, and I don't think she wants to get a phone unlocked for me. It depends if its a hassle to get a phone unlocked, and or buying an unlocked phone. But, isn't it to late to get an unlocked phone because of the 3G NA1700 band?

Ahhh, point taken.
And yeah, I would be a little more picky in my choice of an unlocked phone if I were to procure another in this time and day because of the desire for the NA1700. But I got an excellent deal on my current device....
Here's to hoping that you recoup from that accident - and enjoy college as well.

hope the forthcoming VM 103 will have NA1700 variant, and not too expensive (will use the tax rebate to buy, hope it's not more than $500
if Z10 will come before July, will get Z10 instead of 103
then sign for another year to get W760, after it's sure trouble-free, will get unlocked code for it and flash to HK version with davinciteam

Oh, I already recovered from my accident. But, they did tell me I should rest for like a year, cause my headaches could come back, and I could start getting seizures. So, I just decided to chill out. Also, cause I work to hard, I was working 2 jobs at the last semester of school, and I got 8 other siblings, that I had to help with homework, and projects. Not, including my cousin. But, its not like I have had much time to relax thou, i'm still helping everybody with everything. Its tiring.

Since I already have a phone that has more features than the W760 and I am not interested in the ELUSIVE 3G,and the fact that I have had both Nokia and SE and prefer the Nokia I might get a 5610 to be a backup to my N95-3 NAM that I have now. Also if and when I decide to jump to AT&T I have their 3G in my N95 already!!

since Z780 comes earlier (July), that I'll pick Z780 instead
the price should be $300 MSRP at the first place
and lot of data players will pick this phone
