iPhone through T-Mobile

:confused:I'm thinking about getting an unlocked iphone so i can use on t-mobile. i wanted to know from someone on here who already has one with t-mobile if it's worth getting one. i'm not sure what features would work or not since it is unlocked. will the internet work like if it would on the att network, if anyone could give me any heads up i appreciate it!

I've been running an iPhone on Tmob for several months now. You can read all about it on my blog over at PhoneDog.com - Noah Kravitz's Cell Phone and Telecom Blog (http://www.phonedog.com/blog/author_102435.aspx)

The long and short of it is it works great. Everything except visual voicemail can and will work if you hack/patch your phone correctly. You have to make sure only to install unlocked firmware updates, not the standard ones from Apple - most recently (1.1.4) I used Ziphone for this and it worked like a charm, except that in the last week or so I lost YouTube access (initially I had it and it worked just fine). I haven't tried to fix that as I stopped using iPhone in favor of a Nokia N82 last week.

Anyway ... I don't know if myFaves works or not, but data works for me over EDGE using my $5.99/mo T-Zones plan, which is a nice bonus. Web, Email, maps, widgets - everything works just fine.
