I have two T-Mobile accounts:
1: 1500 minutes for $39.99/month and $5.99 Tzones, currently using a Nokia 6030
2: T-Mobile ToGo, on another Nokia 6030.
I use paperless billing on the postpaid account, though I don't do autopay. I'm always afraid that a computer glitch will cause my mortgage payment to bounce.
FWIW, I also have a US Cellular postpaid account that my wife is using until the contract is up, and I have an active Virgin Mobile phone, an active TracFone, and an inactive Net10 phone.

5 T-Mo2Go accounts, 1 Tracfone, 2 Page Plus, and 2 Cingular GoPhones. I also pay the bill on 1 Cingular post-paid not in my own name. Total monthly bill averages $30/month not including the contract phone, cheaper than one landline would cost me!

No, it's an addiction. Cheaper than alcohol, legal, and not harmful to my health. Also, when I roam around the rural areas of our fair state, usually (though not always), at least one of those phones will get a signal...

I can just picture you (ok, random person in my head) pulling phones out of a fanny pack, desperately looking for service. :D

Most embarrassing moment of last week:
I had to take hubby to the hospital. Not knowing which of my phones might work in the hospital, I took them all. I don't normally carry my full-size purse with me, but because of all the phones, I did. (I normally carry a wallet with my keys attached - did I mention I have memory problems and forget things a lot?) So, you can guess what happened next... We were sitting in the ER waiting room and I suddenly realized I had brought my purse inside, but now no longer had it with me. I ran back to the ladies' room to look for it, came out without it, but with a panicked look on my face apparently, and another lady in the waiting room told me she had found a purse and taken it to security.
So I went to security, they asked me my name, I told them, and they handed me my purse. They admitted they had just gone through it and had tried to call me. I imagine them trying to call me resulted in my purse (that they were holding) ringing... Anyway, then the guy says, "You sure do have a lot of cell phones...."
So I said, "Yeah, they're all prepaid, all different carriers, and hopefully one of them gets a signal when I need it..." Turned red, and tried to disappear into the waiting room quickly...
So the verdict was: T-Mobile, Cingular, and Page Plus (Verizon) all worked in the patient room, but only Cingular worked in the ER, and only in the waiting area, not in the exam area.

When we go on a trip, I have about three phones that come along. My T-Mobile phone, an old Virgin Mobile phone, and my wife's US Cellular phone. (I have an active Cingular Tracfone right now, so it could come along as well.) I think I drive my wife crazy as I check to see who has signal. I am fortunate in that my normal travels are always covered by T-Mobile or one of T-Mo's roaming partners. When traveling, we only use the US Cellular phone in emergencies, as its roaming is extremely expensive. The Virgin Mobile phone rarely works when we get away from major highways.

No, I don't use or sell drugs. I won't keep most of them active when they expire. I had the Virgin Mobile phone first, but then discovered that the coverage wasn't what I needed. It was one of those free phones with airtime purchase. I won the Tracfone off of a prepaid forum. The Net10 phone's airtime is now expired, and I purchased the T-Mobile prepaid phone to try out T-Mo's coverage. I enjoy being a phone nerd when traveling. I like to see which phones work and which ones don't. I figure I can enjoy it on one more trip, as my Tracfone and Virgin Mobile phone will expire in July, and I don't plan to purchase any airtime for either phone.
We're stuck with my wife's postpaid US Cellular phone for another eleven months, though it is on a minimal plan that costs only $29/month after taxes and fees. (Their old local 400 plan was $25.)
My next new thing may be the hotspot @Home. I like those new tech things. I get marginal service with any cell provider at my house, so the @Home option would work nicely!
