That would be pretty cool. I like the Touch form factor, but just don't think that I could give up a keyboard. With a slider form I think it would be usable for me.

They wanna debut the HTC Touch Dual as the MDA Touch Plus, with a 16 keypad, instead of the 20 key Suretype keypad. Why? I want the Suretype keypad. But, I guess thats ok as long as T-Mobile USA get it.

Yeah, like I said supposedly their gonna redesign the keypad, and software, and call it the MDA Touch Plus. But, the HTC Touch Dual will be sold unlocked at Best Buy stores. But, I think that one will only have HSDPA 2100 MHz for the one sold at Best Buy.

ok maybe it's me but i would really like to know what's going through the minds of the t-mo marketing department. i understand that t-mo offers excellent customer service and very reasonable prices on their plans and phones. but from a business standpoint you have to keep up with your competitors and try to stay a step ahead. i have always thought when your in any business...you always want to be the leader in your industry, not stay idle and be happy with what you already have. sooner or later folks will grow tired! even if t-mo comes out with 3g this summer, you still have to have a "killer" phone to compliment that new service. you gotta have that "it" factor, that everyone must have or own that peticular product. but i guess the big wigs are happy where they're at and not interested in being a leader in their business, as long as they're making profits...right? at&t....LG Vu, iPhone, SE Xperia, etc.....,verizon...all their new stuff too, hell stumbling sprint with the new samsung??:confused::confused::confused:: confused:

I definitely agree with you that T-Mobile rarely if ever is first to debut innovative devices and services, but when they do finally get around to it,most of the bugs are worked out.Other carriers sometimes seem to rush stuff out before it's really ready(phone bugs, service outages,etc.).Also their market is based on providing affordable prices and great customer care, not to be the first kid on the block with "the latest and greatest".

Your completely right. I believe T-Mobile's market plan is to market cheap Samsung's to everyone cause they believe most of their base of customers can afford it better, and are the average Joe's. I grew tired the beginning of February, and switched to Helio for a quick minute; but, their service wasn't satisfactory, and I didn't really like their Helio Ocean.

Some businesses will work hard at being one of the top leaders in the industry instead of spending every ounce of energy trying to be the top in the industry. While that sucks for all of us T-mo loyalists that want that cool "IT" phone, what it does mean is that T-mo will always be #2 or #3 and the top spot will be given to the company that spends way too much money and risks over stepping and falling flat on their face.
There are a ton of phones out there that I think T-mo would do great by picking them up. But I think it will be a couple more years before they start doing in US what they do elsewhere.
