I had to make a 911 call last night, and where i live, u really dont get a good signal with other carriers, always dropped calls. Anyways i made the call and the person was rushed to the hospital via an ambulance within 11 minutes later, and their life was saved. I just want to thank T-Mobile for having great coverage for prepay in my area with the bad weather conditions and wooded environment that i live in. I called tmobile and thanked them as well. To me even though the 911 call was free, all the money i have ever spent on my fone and airtime was well worth it, and it has paid for itself by making that one call that helped save a persons life.

thats awesome. we need more people like you in this world.
That's great to hear this and I'm sure T-Mobile was happy that they could assist in saving a life. I always like to hear these stories.

the cs rep i talked to said all the time she has worked for tmo she has never heard of anyone calling in and thanking them the way i did, she was very appreciative to me. she said the conversation was being recorded and she would make sure other heard it. i asked her to thank everyone else for me as well.

Well Said. I fully agree. First of all, I'm glad that the life was saved, and it sounds like the person should be pretty glad that you were there at the right time too.
I'm sure the CS rep will share that conversation with some co-workers...because I bet thats great to hear after a day of complaining. :)
Thanks for saving a life

Awsome job,, just wanted to let you know that one your bill you pay a 50cent E911 fee an that is it allowes you to make a 911 call anywhere in the usa weather you have T-mobile service or not.. it's sends you call to a local tower and connects to the opperator, thats why there is about a 10 second delay when you call before it starts to ring..

you can call 911 even without a sim card in the phone.

Correct, that the only thing you can call.. but if you want to call them say hey whats happening. they are there and even without a phone service.

I have to say, this is one of the coolest things about T-mo I've ever heard... not only because T-mo helped save a life (I'm sure other carriers have handled 911 calls to help save other lives too), but also because Evil was genuinely appreciative enough to call T-mo and to personally thank them and the CSR was appreciative enough to share it with the others. It really warms my heart to hear what Evil did (both during and after the emergency). Kudos to Evil! *sniff* I think I'm going to cry... :o

thanks for sharing the good feeling with me everyone, it also makes me feel good that there are still other good people in the world as yourselves. im just glad that the person survived. thats good to know about being able to call 911 with no sim in the fone, i never really thought about if that would be possible or not. if i was still using my nextel/boost fone i dont think that i would have been able to make the call at all. the people over at howardsforum helped me make my descision about picking tmobile, and now im glad i did.
