OK so it's a bit premature to say spring. But the sun is out, and the snow has melted enough to see the lawn chair left out in the yard. It's coming.
I'm in Seacoast Maine, which almost goes without saying because most of inland Maine still doesn't have much cell phone reception. You go up the highway and coverage becomes spotty after Gray, only reappearing in Augusta or Bangor, or if you head to the coast.
I have T-mobile because it's GSM and can roam on the Canadian Rogers network. Also because the pay-as-you-go option is the most fair I've seen - just pay for minutes used, no access or day fees. And with an unlocked phone I can just slap in a different sim and have service just about anywhere.
In some ways I'm a Luddite -- I prefer a phone that is just a phone, thank you, and then a device like the nokia n800 to play on. I am an independent craftsperson now, but used to work in IT. S'enough?
