So on my w710i i have an instant messaging option under messages. I put in the password, username etc...but i do not know what server to put in. I am looking for the aim server. I also made a yamigo account...but don't know what server to put in. Thanks for the help everyone

I tried login.oscar.aol.com:5190 as AIM server, no luck
perhaps wireless village setting will help

I just put it on my W810i. Seems like it might take a little getting used to but possibly usable. Jon keeps a thread about it in HoFo Series60 forum, I think. Here...

Thanks guys. I am actually trying all the different services you posted to see which one i like best. But quickly, is there an aol instant messages service that i can use. Http://aim.server.com or something like that?

For a java app, you can always try eqo.com. You don't have to use the calling features but the instant message app is very cool. For those who have used it in the past, it's different now.
I used yamigo in the past with my k750 and w810. Did you try these settings?

You might have issues with the $5.99 data plan. Cannot promise anything with that. I had better luck not using the t-mobile proxy (that was automatically sent to the phone using the sony ericsson's wap settings service)
