View Full Version : Automatic Thread Subscriptions?
Should I enable this feature? This will send you an e-mail every time someone posts in a thread you posted in.

I would NOT enable the emailing feature by default, but IMO subscribing to a thread when replying is fine by default (if someone doesn't like the feature, they can change it in their User CP).

I will not be enabling this feature. This feature seems to be more annoying then necessary. Though I can imagine where some people would find it useful is they published a "help me" type thread. That would be good for them.

i believe you should enable automatic thread subscription with NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION. this will allow members to easily use their UserCP to keep track of threads they have posted in or subscribed to.
remember, subscribing to a thread or forum does NOT mean you HAVE to receive email notification. you can subscribe and not receive any emails.

hehe... i've been a vBulletin administrator for several years
I believe I fixed this so that it subscribes you to threads by default. Hopefully it works!

So far this seems to be working fine for me.

Yeah, I like being notified when someone replies to a thread. I hate having to guess which threads I have replied in.

since I come here often (perhaps more with mobile device since wap version is open)
email notification is not necessary for me this time

working like a charm on:
1. blackberry browser
2. opera mini
3. opera mini 4 beta
now how about setting it up as wap.t-mobilesignal.com or something like that? we need a subdomain!
