2 things should fix your problem. The first is get a memory card. I am going to assume your not using one because this is a common blackberry problem as when you use up memory with programs and pictures when the phone gets too loaded it has to free memory in the safest way it can and so blackberry makes it delete text and call logs to free memory. So first thing is buy one, 2gb preffered but 1gb min. if you want music go for the 4gb from amazon. got mine for 40$. Second click your Media tab, then click menu, and options. scroll down to device memory limit and drop it to 12mb, and then scroll to reserved pictures memory and drop it to 0mb, then click menu, save. should solve your problems! If you have a memory card MAKE SURE you are saving all photos to that card, same with ringtones, videos and songs. hope that helps.

Cellhead84 is right! Once your device is too full boom there you go out with your call log and text message and also some emails too! I was shocked! I was freaking out when I noticed they were gone! Took me a minute to realize thats what it was! Also I would say go with the 2gb if you have the bills. I have a 1gb and its almost full and I really amnot into using my BB for music! Please post back with an update!

Funny thing is it deleted the entire call log, most the text and some of my emails. I mean all my emails are backup on the server anyways but ya know I was looking for them when I was out and about!

I've had more issues with the memory being full on my 8320 than I did with my 8700 and I had more on my 8700! But as everyone said, the memory card helps a lot.
