Hey all! I have been searching and haven't really found anything I like or need for the most part. I am looking for three things and these are in order of importance.

Efficiency: I am hoping to find an application or some kind of instructions for settings to make the Curve (8320 for me) more efficient in the way it runs. So far so good it runs much better than my previous smart phones ( wing and shadow). I just always feel things could be faster! I am just one of those people so if anyone knows of anything i could do to increase the efficiency of this device! Thanks

Applications: I am searching for applications that I may not know exist! It can be anything! I have found some interesting ones that I currently use but I would like to find more as I know there is so much out there!

Themes: I have came across a bunch of themes on pinstack.com and various other sites but I just don't like them. Also I think paying 15 dollars for a theme is ridiculous! So if anyone knows any good sites drop me a line thanks!

As far as efficiency goes, once you're through with any application manually terminate its processes so it'll free up the RAM on your handset. I'll check back with more information about applications and themes.

heres what you do you go raid pinstack or crackberry for the newestos for the 8320(the modnel number for thecurve) it dosn't matteer wich carrier ill tell you why in a bit

you instal that on you computer
an install blackberry destopmanager 4.3 an remove any previous versions beofrehand

then
go into C:\program files\common files\ research in motion\apploader
and delete a file called vendor..xml
this removes the check the os and apploader runs to see if you have th matching branded phone locked to that os's carrier your OS wil make a new one for your tmo branded one

then run the app loader
a diaolog will pop up saying you have newer modules an say click ok to upgrade click ok an click next an wait an the th os patch flash your phone don't wory about the phone numbers myfaves an other settings the apploader will back them up automaticly an restore from that backup file after its's done wiping the phone and flasing in the newer os. I've don this multiplt times as i have owned a 7100t and the 8700g and now the 8800,

tmobile dosn't always give you the latest version of the OS also keepin mind newer shipments of curves might be packing os 4.3 so chck your os version in options-about

curently im using the lastes version for the 8800 wich is 4.2.1.108 tmos still stuck on 4.2.1.74

if i had the permissions to post fille attackments id upload the latest version for you

also call caustomerservice anget your phone unlocked and
in the destopmanager configure the synconize setting and check your notes calender and adress book and tasks to sync wit m$outlook
an configure your backup options to backup your device data once a week an if your loading music up or sounds or pics get a 2 gig micro sd card

you can then use the mediamanager to port pictures an sounds and music in extenstions od .wma.wav.mp3.jpeg.gif.bmp

you will never have a need to buy ringtones or wallpapers again EVER.

you can use you media manager on the phone to play a song press the blackberrykey an click with the ball set as phone tune

youn can aslso move them to the ringtones folder.
also on your wap broser go to blackberry help (you need data for this) an dl all the instant messageing clines wich yous your unlimited data we as oz instnat messaging burns thorugh your text messages
