SiCKO Trailer Video (http://www.youtube.com/v/joaAfBr9tAE)

I watched this movie last night and it made me completely lose all faith in the American health care system. I'm quite young and I come from an upper-middle class family so I had not realized the severity of this issue. Now, I'm convinced that we must truly have universal health care. It's just common decency.

What movie was it? I beleive there are pluses and negatives of universal health care...like the huge backlog of precedures that need to be done. Still...its a good thing to think about because there are so many good and not so good points to it

LOL!!! :D

Sorry, I know it's not supposed to be funny... but the very end of the trailer makes the movie look like a comedy... :(

I work in the health care industry, and over the years I've seen to many changes, and unfortunately they don't always benefit the patients. Higher malpractice insurance rates are pushing some of the finest doctors that I have come to know out of PA,......Unless something is done to fix insurance premiums, and also regulate some of the practices that the insurance companies are getting away with today, health care is not going to change any time soon.

I just want to write and say that I think Michael Moore is sucking up valuable oxygen. He is a piece of **** to the 100th degree. Right or wrong, true or false he is in a group with Britney Spears and Mel Gibson who are providing this country with nothing other than evening news fodder. Thanks Michael, hope you drown in your own pile of feces.

Research Universal Health Care a little. Do some googling on it, see how long you have to wait to see a doctor.

I've heard mixed things about Universal Health Care systems. However, from what I read, it seems that Britain and Canada are doing just fine. Their citizens live longer actually. However, they have to pay a gigantic tax...15% I believe on purchases. I think in the U.S., Americans are more "me, me" and care less about their fellow Americans. I just always try to hear both sides of the story...I think it makes me more knowledgeable all around. :p
