I saw the change after name changed
but recently I found the number of new posts drops dramatically, even T-Mobile section
I don't deny the purpose of the name change, but we (as T-Mobile users) have a special forum dedicated to us
but now, it looks no difference from others
opinions?
ideas?

btw, it should be good to add Ctrl+Enter to post/reply would be more convenient to FireFox users, because Alt+S cannot be used

Green, I've noticed the change as well. However, I still have faith that it will pick up. It takes awhile after things have changed a tad. I think people generally have stopped posting much because of several reasons that have been mentioned before. I think the forum is very different from the others though.

1. Cell Phone Carrier Statistics
2. Unique forum designs
3. Fun, positive, and friendly community

A fun and friendly atmosphere is a good reason to join any forum, and I think we've got a good amount here ^^

With that said... I wish I could post direct YouTube videos in here, but I have a link ON THAT NOTE: YouTube - Lego Beer Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATBl4qH9I54&feature=related)

(it's an oldie but goodie)

Well, there is not much going on at T-Mobile at the moment. T-Mobile users make up most of this forum.

Matt,

I agree. There really isn't that much going on with T-Mobile right now. However, the forums have suffered a little since I moved away from a T-Mobile only forum. What do you all think about the new forum? I'm pretty happy with it but like anything, it takes time to build up a forum and activity.

To All,
Can we all get around to B.S.'ing in the Lounge or something? 'cause, you know, that would be fun...

I'm also tired of seeing my name as having the best score in the entire arcade!!! Ok, well, it's nice... but gimme some competition here! For all you new users reading this, click on
Arcade in that purple bar up top, between Calendar and New Posts.

Mystic: In about 3 weeks, school and my grades stop mattering for me. Thats about the time my name will be #1 in the arcade :p

We'll hit a tipping point sometime soon and things will pick up. We need more people from Sprint AT&T and Verizon. T-mobile is the smallest of the national carriers and we're wooping everyone else!

I liked to go to a forum that is ONLY for T-Mobile users. It took me a while to find one, and now it is gone.:(

The forum will pick-up within the next 2-3 months, especially with all this talk of the Google Android mobile OS, Verizon Wireless opening up it's network to ANY CDMA handset, Sprint Nextel deploying their 4G WiMax service, T-Mobile launching their 3G service, and Verizon Wireless proceeding with their 4G LTE trials!

Well this forum is still growing. I believe we will hit a tipping point and our numbers will start jumping up. We need more of that great information you bring in, and all the users bring in.

I'm glad you feel at home here cellhead. You definitely should, all your posts are really helpful and we're glad your around.
We're going to keep that "at home" feeling as we grow. In a cheesy way, like a big cell-phone centric family.
We've had some good posts in the last week and traffic seems to be picking up a little bit. I think if we keep the good posts coming.

And if anyone has suggestions, please post them. They could be as simple as making a table of costs for Sprint phones...anything you think could be helpful. The worst that could happen is we say that it can't be done right away, but we do listen to and apply a lot of suggestions, so if you guys have anything to help out, we love to hear them!

Why thank you anything coming from the top tier of moderators I definitely take it as nothing short of advice I personally have never been apart of something from the beginning which is key that I felt could be so ground breaking in the attempt to inform even taking it to the next level which would be web conferencing of the admin and mods no one else has even considered this idea I feel its something that would with out question lead to success do to the one factor of our leaders being the head of the snake and everyone else following suit I'm prepared to bring this to the next level offering week by week analysis of the most comprehensive devices as well as free themes and continuing to try to be as effective as an admin or mod with all due respect but the web conferencing is just something like a meet and greet weekly to keep the members up on what's new what's been going on and have a Q and A session to keep all ears and eyes open at all timesI'm glad you feel at home here cellhead. You definitely should, all your posts are really helpful and we're glad your around.

why dont we setup redirects so people can get to the new forum. all my old links look as if the site is offline, not that it has changed ot the new site. if you dont want to change your metrics you can just say the name of the new site instead of a redirect. up to you.

Please explain and provide an example if possible...we will definitely correct this.

Lee, this is a PM I just got from a great user that used to post quite often on the forum, but has not recently.

I WOULD like to make a suggestion to you and Alex though... the other part of the reason why I don't frequent this website very much anymore is because T-mobileSignal.com takes me to CellPhoneSignal's main page instead of directly into the T-Mobile Forum. For some reason, it really irks me that when I type in T-mobileSignal.com, it takes me to the CellPhoneSignal - Cell Phone Forum and I have to click again to go into the T-Mobile forum (when I type in t-mobilesignal.com, I want to go directly to the T-mobile Forum... if I wanted to go to CellPhoneSignal - Cell Phone Forum, I'd just type that in!). But most of the time I don't check the other forums since I don't have AT&T or Sprint or Verizon or other cell phone service, so I don't need to go to CellPhoneSignal - Cell Phone Forum.

Please pass this suggestion up to Alex so he can link T-mobileSignal.com ==> T-Mobile - CellPhoneSignal - Cell Phone Forum, http://www.attsignal.com ==> ATT - CellPhoneSignal - Cell Phone Forum, etc, if he wants to. That way, anyone that types in T-mobileSignal.com will be directly redirected to the T-Mobile forum, and http://www.attsignal.com/ will be directly redirected to the AT&T forum, etc, and people will have a direct URL to go to their most desired forum!

I'm not exactly sure how many people are still regularly frequenting TMS, but I got the feeling some interest in these forums diminished after the website re-design (at least for a while). I'm not saying the re-design is bad, or that this was the reason why some people may have lost interest, but it certainly COULD be a contributing factor (like with me).

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to tell Alex or you what to do with CellPhoneSignal, or tell you guys you are wrong or right. I'm just giving you my honest opinion and suggestion in a fairly direct manner. Please don't be offended at what I've said... I'm just trying to better the website, just like you and Alex are! Anyway, thanks for listening to my suggestion, and I'll see you around the forum (when I have time to stop by, and when/if the URL linking is "fixed"... so to speak).

Sincerely,
Chokaay

In my honest opinion, I think to make this forum successful, we need to steer away from the classic main forum with smaller sub forums, and do a re-design that is something along the lines of "T-mobileSignal.com" and each carrier has a much more individualized forum. Each carrier would also have their own lounge, and it would be like CPS, except just for T-mobile, and one just for AT&T. Now, I think CPS is still necessary and important. I think we should keep it, with the lounge, and it should still take statistics from the forums to keep the competition going. But the reason T-mobileSignal.com grew faster then I have ever seen a site grow before is because it was one of a kind...there is not a good T-mobile only forum out there, (or Verizon or ATT as far as I know)

I think this would be great as well! I'm just curios to know, how would go about making the changes to accomplish this?
