Do any of you have any funny/crazy road rage stories?

My grandmother and I were driving today to pick up a new luggage case for me. At one point was were in a stand-still with traffic. Bumper to bumper! Neway, this lady gets into the left-hand turning lane (coming the other direction on the road) and motions to my grandmother to move out of the way so she can turn into the parking lot. My grandmother has absolutely no room to move (bumper to bumper like i said). Well, she proceeds to plow her way through! She came only inches away from hitting my grandmother and then she gave us the finger! The nerve people have! Everyone thinks they own the road!:mad::mad:

I had a 72 Mercury Montego that I inherited from my dad. The neutral safety switch went bad and my exfiance put the reverse lights on a toggle switch. I didn't think much of this until this guy came flying up on me on the highway. I flipped the toggle switch and all I heard behind me were brakes squealing. Guess he'll think twice about doing that again,:D
It was so worth it. Is that road rage???

I drive a Silverado...I see people (especially kids in rice rockets), trying to cut each other off, its funny when they come to me and they see the size of my truck, compared to the size of their car and they reconsider...

I always look back and reflect (with a smile) on a time when I was on a one-lane ramp from one freeway to another and we were on a turn, and this one car speeds up to tailgate me as if to speed up to get out of his way. He would NOT let down and he really pissed me off. So I stepped the accelerator... for just a few seconds and then SLAMMED on the brakes.

Nobody collided that day, but he decided to cower at least 10 car lengths behind me the rest of the time we were on the freeway.:D

I've also encountered people who like to turn on their brights, or flash a few times then leave them on, until they can get you to move over at night since they're usually going 20mph over. They don't want to change lanes, no matter how many are open, and will tailgate with their brights on as long as possible to "teach you a lesson" to get out of their way later. Well, they get fed up after I just... ooops... forget to keep the gas pedal pressed down, so at 15mph BELOW the speed limit they give up and go around and cut me off to "show me who's boss". I just turn on my brights and follow them for the next 15 minutes, however many lane changes they make, until they give up and obey the posted speed signs.

......

Then I pass them up.

I'm still laughing out loud for this one. That is great.

I will probably end up getting shot because I piss off a tailgater to much. Driving a stick shift....I can put it in reverse when someone is tailgating me. However...when someone is tailgating me, I don't just slam on the brakes. I use the emergency break so my brake lights don't go on, and the tailgater gets the crap scared out of them. I have gone less then 10 MPH on a one lane 40 MPH road because someone wouldn't get off my tail. I don't take kindly to bad drivers

My best stunt however, was on this 30 MPH street by my house. I was going away from my house and saw a speed trap set up, but it was for the opposite way. So 10 minutes later I was coming back, going the speed limit cause I knew there was a cop up ahead. This guy was on my tail. I went down to about 18 MPH but then I got a better idea. I just floored it and went about 45. He was right behind me. Right before the corner that the cop was around, I turned. I pulled a quick U and got back on that road and crossed my fingers. Low and behold guess who was pulled over 4 blocks down. I drove by and waved.

LMAO Shawn... LMFAO :D:D Pure retribution... I've never seen a driver that pissed me off pulled over by the cops, that is absolutely amazing that you duped a tailgater into it. He deserved it, and hopefully he'll think twice about doing it again....

Seriously LMAO. (I am so glad work hasn't blocked CellPhoneSignal, hehehe)

I've never "duped" a tailgater persay since I don't really know where all of the speed traps are...but I remember a time I was driving with a friend of mine in the HOV lane on the LIE...as I was going past a turnaround (where PD usually hangs out), a guy decided to tailgate me...I slowed down to 58 miles an hour, and the guy got even closer to my car...finally he gave up and decided to pull across the HOV buffer, but he didn't even notice the HOV-2 car doing enforcement...

I remember seeing the guy's car getting towed as I went past them on my way back...

Poetic Justice is sweet...
