So for the next two months i am going to be traveling a lot, so at the suggestion of some members here i'll give you guys some updates on where i am. Well right now i am 50 miles north of waterloo, iowa...roaming off of i-wireless, with 5 bars and gprs...no edge. Just because i have nothing else to do, i'll update this every once and a while...it will be more interesting when i leave the country later tip month. Well i don't think i've seen as much corn in my whole life as i have seen today.

We just arrived in davenport about an hour ago. Who would have guessed...sturggess is going on right now. I have not seen this many motor cycles in my life. ..and i probably never will again. Lol well here is the update: still on i-wireless with only gprs...but with a consistent 5 bars

You know, in addition to keeping us posted with your location and how many bars you have, you should also take (at least) 1 picture in each location you post... that way we can "see" where you've been too! Your phone DOES have a camera on it, right? :D

I'm starting to think we need a new subforum under General Discussion entitled ROAD TRIP! ;-)

Right now i'm about 90 miles south of minneapolis...and i just got T-mobile back. No more roaming, but i still only have gprs. Hopefully i'll jump to edge soon. Anyways, i have a picture or two and some video that i'll put up later. I wanted to get some video of the 35,000 motor cycles in davinport where i was staying, but i don't think i got any good chances. I promise i'll have some good pictures from italy and israel...

Maybe we should have a sticky for all members to use when they travel.

Title the thread with the city you are in. ie: Boise

Post body: Coverage seems great. EDGE (3g soon I hope) is pretty good.

Something along those lines.

Well I can tell you that I get EDGE exactly 69 miles south of Minneapolis...in case anyone wanted to know that. I will add this to the EDGE coverage map soon, and tomorrow or the next day when I'm not working and get a chance to actually be online, I will put on some of the trip pictures.

I thought i-wireless used T-Mobile's network?
