With a name like Venus, I've got to say that I was expecting it in pink from the start.

Anybody seen this one in real life yet? How's the color?

Only the back and keypad is pink. The front is still black.

It looks really bad, IMO. I can understand not wanting to tint the glossy front or anything, but still. Even coloring the "speaker grilles" pink would make it look much more unified.

Sqube, it's a bright, bubblegum pink. The keypad has two slightly different shades of pink, like the original Chocolate.

I'm never a fan of pink phones. Ew.

Mog: Wow. Just... wow. I'm probably going to have to go to a Verizon store tomorrow, so I'll see if I can't eyeball it myself. You know, just to make sure that it's as bad as it is in my mental eye.

LostNorthernStar: Well, there's the Voyager and the U940. Plus the new openness policy next year, which will make a hell of a lot more phones available. We don't really need for Verizon to do it anymore.
