Hello;

signed up a few days back and just realized I'm suppose to introduce myself.
T-mobile customer on a family plan for myself and spouse for a little over 2 years.
We're in Oregon and yes as someone else from Oregon mentioned--we do enjoy no sales tax.
Used to be in Montana so we have a history of happy shopping

Someone had me convinced that Texas also had no sales tax... turns out these people have no concept on the different types of taxes in this country, as apparently there *is* a state sales tax but there is *not* a state income tax. *sigh* Oh well,it still saves me money. Yet here I was hoping to get a car for so much less than everyone else :-P When I was younger, in CA, I remember my dad telling me they had recently enacted some kind of law in Oregon so that people HAD to be residents there in order to get a car [for example] with no sales tax. Cleared out all the moochers.

No sales tax, grrrr! I guess you're one of the lucky ones who can buy products and make a higher profit on them (like iPhones). What's your property tax like though? I bet it's pretty high!
