Sprint Nextel rejected an offer by South Korea's SK Telecom and
private-equity firm Providence Equity Partners to invest $5 billion in
the company and install its former chairman, Tim Donahue, as chief
executive, people familiar with the matter said.

Wow that would definitely rock the wireless market. I'm surprised I missed this article! This is actually fairly big news. I hope that our cell phone carriers stay as-foreign owned as they are now, or become less in the future. Not more.
