I am totally new at this. I have a Dash, and with the new upgrade, my bluetooth doesn't work. I talked with T-Mobile and they suggested checking here because it will not work on 'their' end. I keep reading about using a registry program and total commander, but I know nothing about either. Can someone explain this to me? I want to get my bluetooth to work with the voice command with the new 6 version for the dash. And, please type slowly :) because I am very new at this - I will read slowly also :p. thanks for the help.

I'll try and make it easy for you.
Go to Resco and download Explorer 2007 here (http://www.resco.net/smartphone/explorer/downloads.asp).
Download and copy the file I attached to this post and unzip it.
Copy the UNZIPPED file to your device. To copy the file to your phone: right-click on the "ActiveSync" icon (assuming you're running XP not Vista) and click "Explore" to open the mobile device while it is attached to your PC.
Use Resco Explorer on your device to open the file.
This will import the registry script which changes the DLL responsible for Bluetooth to one compatible with Voice Command. Then you can hit the button on your Bluetooth headset and it will activate Voice Command.

Switched isp and been getting rid of bugs, so i have just accessed the message to start. I downloaded Resco from your link to my pc (was that correct?) I downloaded the file and unzipped it (again to my pc). i have xp not vista. however, from here i get a little fuzzy. I followed your instructions on #3 into explore and went to 'my mobile device', then into program files (was that right?) I see Resco Explorer file, but they only seem to open for properties. I may have missed a step somewhere, or am just unsure what to do next. Can you walk me through with more details? I really appreciate the help. Lynda
