I expect I'll use 5-6GB this month.....
there's a disaster happens on my home DSL, the speed is dead slow at night, even down to less than 200kbps, and a lot of page loading error:(
recently my mobile EDGE has alot better speed, can achieve 200kbps easily, that I have to use T-Mobile Internet at home:rolleyes:
usually I use 1-2GB a month, but it'll bump up to 5-6GB due to the reason above, and running test drive of Slingbox over internet:)
and I'll setup FTP in order to dl music OTA through HSDPA from my home
if T-Mobile lets me use up to 25GB a month for $19.99, I'll be with you forever!:D

Are you in contract right now, or on month to month? I have heard of people getting "the letter" when they are out of contract, but never when they are in contract.

not at all
I have been out of contract for a year (2004-2005, till I lost a phone, and I need a phone in hurry, that I sign for another year to get another phone)
and currently my contract is still in effect, that I may not get any words
I won't sign another contract for a time being till I found a decent HSDPA phone from T3
I realize T-Mobile is the most liberal carrier I ever known

Very true. I just hope that this doesn't change. And I hope if it does change, there will be a big enough backlash from the T-mobile community that they reconsider.

Finally, I think that if you are in contract with T-mobile, you will be fine using a lot data. Are you on a busy tower do you think?

not really
T-Mobile handles call traffic pretty well in NYC, in spite of very limited spectrum

From what I understand Verizon and at&t have a 5GB gap.

that's why I want to stay away from VZW
5GB is easy to reach, just watch slingbox for 2 hours a day @500kbps and check usage
even the test drive to watch TV for 2 hours @120kbps, it costs me almost 100MB!!!!!

Woah! That's a lot! That Sling Box is pretty cool, especially if you're always on the go. Can you record stuff on your laptop and burn it?

nope, sorry
however, I can use Winmedia Encoder to stream, but I have to leave a dedicated pc on all the time, and need a video cap
