View Full Version : H@H Question...

I dumped my BB's earlier this year for the Dash (WM6) & the Wing. I've been reasonably happy with both, and I think the 6 months or so that I've gone with these is the longest I've gone without getting new phones. At the same time, I've always had problems with reception in my house. I'm pretty sure I can suck it up and go back to the BB - I would be getting a Curve, of course. My question is... will it be worth my while to make this switch in relation to how it's gonna work with the WiFi calling? How's the service in general, and does anybody use the Curve that can tell me how it works with the H@H?
PS I'm sure this has been gone over a hundred times, but I haven't seen much as it relates to the Curve.

Wifi calling works very well for me at my house, just make sure you have decent coverage in your house :)

If you have a home network set up on WiFi, you'll be impressed with the H@H works, and the hand off are great. I've yet to have an issue. Make sure you get the add-on for the unlimited calls. If coverage is your only concern, then you're fine without it! And the Curve is the best BB i've used to date, and i've used all of the ones released in the last 4 yrs....yes, literally, all of them.

The input is much appreciated... I had used them from the 7100 thru the 8800. I had switched to the WM phones cuz I actually found them to have more expansive email capabilities out of the box - which, in turn, I've not used nearly as much as I could (or thought I would). So I should be fine going back to the BB. I do have a wireless network set up in my house. I have an exposed ranch where the main floor is exposed towards the lake I live on, and on lake level. I've found it real tough to get a signal without going upstairs to one of the rooms towards the road. Everywhere else, I really have no problem. I look forward to trying out the service - if it works well, it will save me a lot of little headaches.

It should work fine then! If you need any help with setup on the Curve, just ask. I've done it enough with mine to walk you through it if you'd like.
