MP3 storage space available on W490

I just got the W490 the other day and decided to "fill up" the Digital Audio Player. Five songs later it's full. What's up with that? I know that I can get a memory card to offset the lack of phone memory, but only five songs? How cheesy is that? My 1G Zen Nano holds 10 times as much. Any thoughts on this?:confused::mad:

From PhoneScoop, it says internal memory is only at 5MB. I'm surprised you could even fit 5 songs. It says the w510, which is essentially the same phone, has 20MB, but either way it's not more than 20MB. I don't have a w490, but you can check by going to
Menu->Settings->Phone Status->Storage Devices->Phone
and it will tell you how much memory you have, and what's used.

Wow, I did not know it only has 5MB of memory on its own. The promos only truly boast of the memory being "up to 2G" ( that's with the memory card). My bad for not looking further into things before complaining. Thanks for the info.

Store the songs to the memory card. You will be better off ;)
